












Collin is a lifelong baseball player who began playing at Harundale Youth Sports League before starring at Glen Burnie High School. A varsity starter at second base as a freshman, he helped lead the Gophers to the Maryland 4A State Championship, later reaching another state championship game as a junior and the state semifinals as a senior. He earned Baltimore Sun All-County honors as a senior.
After a fall season at Alvernia College, Collin transferred to Frostburg State University, where he excelled as a pitcher. As a freshman, he recorded 14.7 strikeouts per nine innings, held opponents to a .237 batting average, earned the win in the AMCC Championship game, was named Tournament MVP and AMCC Player of the Week, and received Academic All-Conference honors. He spent the following summer with the Anderson Warriors of the MLB-sanctioned Southern Collegiate Baseball League, playing under Major League veterans Ivan Murrell and Pedro Borbon, while also coaching at Clemson University's Summer Baseball Camp under head coach Jack Leggett.
Forgoing an opportunity to play at Clemson, Collin entered his sophomore season at Frostburg as a Collegiate Baseball Magazine's National Pitcher to Watch. He posted a 2.88 ERA, averaged 12.6 strikeouts per nine innings, and held opponents to a .174 batting average before an arm injury ended his playing career after earning selections to both the Southern Collegiate Baseball League and the Alaska Baseball League.
Following college, Collin coached at Long Reach High School for five seasons (one JV and four varsity) while also playing in the Chesapeake Men's Senior Baseball League. He eventually stepped away from both to coach his son and daughter in youth sports.
For the past nine years, Collin has coached youth baseball and youth softball for the past six. He led an EYO recreational baseball team to consecutive league championships at the 9/10 and 11/12 age levels, founded and coached a Sunday Select team and two summer All-Star teams, and started the EYO Dubble Bubble Hurricanes recreational softball program, which won back-to-back Howard County Alliance 14U championships in 2024 and 2025. He also coached the 12U recreational softball All-Star team in 2025. Since 2022, Collin has served as head coach of a Hurricanes travel baseball team. Since 2025, Collin has served as a coach on a Hurricanes travel softball team.

Dave Roogow's baseball career began at the age of 6 when he started playing for the HCYP Rec League. Playing in the league until he reached high school, Dave was selected to the prestigious Memorial Day Tournament All Star Team each and every year. In high school, Dave took time off from the everyday grind of baseball to try other sports, including wrestling and lacrosse.
Dave Roogow's coaching career began on the wrestling mats at 21 years old when he was an Assistant Coach for the Eagles of Centennial High School in Ellicott City, MD. After a few years as serving as the team's top assistant, he took over the head coaching reigns where he lead the team to a 3rd place finish in the MPSSAA 4A/3A state tournament. Over his 14 years coaching high school wrestling, Dave had a hand in coaching and developing 8 state championship wrestlers and many more wrestlers who went on to wrestle at the collegiate level.
In 2016 Dave returned to the sport he loved and grew up on when he began coaching baseball in the Elkridge Youth Organization. Dave has held roles as both head coach and assistant coach at every youth level, including Summer All Star/Sunday Select teams. Dave also has been the head coach in EYO Softball of the legendary 13U Lime Green Canes for the past three seasons.
Dave has been a member of the staff since the summer of 2022.

Rob has a strong coaching background, coaching both baseball and football. He has been at EYO since 2016. In 2021 he led the 9/10 EYO Rockies before joining the EYO Green Machine in the spring of 2022. Rob helped coach The Green Machine to a Howard County Alliance Championship the team's first year in the 11/12 age group.
Rob also coached two EYO summer all-star tournament teams. In 2021 he was on the staff for the 10U EYO Green Tournament Team and in 2022 he was on the staff for the 12U EYO Orange Tournament Team.
Rob joined the staff in the summer of 2022.
